Our project supervisors and employees are entrusted with the responsibility for safety on our projects and are backed by a staff of certified safety and training professionals. This has allowed us to earn the reputation of being a reliable resource that can be utilized to consistently complete projects safely.

Higdon Construction maintains an extensive behavior based safety program exclusively developed for our company, known as “S.T.A.R.T” (Safe Today And Return Tomorrow).  Our program has been audited and approved by firms such as NCMS, ISNetworld, PEC, and Veriforce, and it is in compliance with DOT and OSHA regulations.

Higdon Construction also complies with Operator Qualification requirements for DOT regulated industries. We coordinate our Operator Qualifications through assessments and performance evaluations under the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) and Operator Qualifications Solutions Group (OQSG). Our records are maintained in ISNetworld and Veriforce.

Where required, Higdon Construction has qualified employees with TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Credentials) maintained by the Transportation Security Administration under the US Department of Homeland Security.
